Tax Equity Funders Network Session at the Prosperity Summit 2022

The pandemic and racial reckoning of the past few years underscored vast inequities, calling each of us to rise to the challenge to invest in solutions. This time has opened the door to innovations, even in long-standing fields like tax credits outreach and tax preparation, which are critical to racial, ethnic and gender equity. Join the EITC Funders Network and funder and field leaders at the 2022 Prosperity Summit, September 20th from 2-4pm ET, where we will gather in-person for the first time since 2019!

In this session, Darrick Hamilton will share more about the important connection between equity and tax policy, a funder panel will discuss their work related to tax credits and innovations of the past year, and funders will have an opportunity to discuss emerging strategies with their funder colleagues.

Marching on: Reimagining Economic Justice for All

Every two years, Prosperity Now creates a diverse, energetic, dynamic, and purposeful space for dedicated individuals working to advance economic justice. The Summit has long been a place for our partners in the field to share and learn best practices, discover new solutions, and galvanize around policies that promote financial security for all. This opportunity to convene and mobilize is critically important as we navigate the current health and economic crisis, as well as fight for economic justice and anti-racist policies affecting opportunity and equity for communities of color.

While you do not need to be registered for the Prosperity Summit to attend the EITC Funders Network meeting, it is strongly encouraged. Separate registration is required.
