Implications of the Federal Budget and Tax Debates: A Tax Equity Funders Network Discussion

How will federal budget and tax policies impact supports and services for workers, families, and communities? What lies ahead at the federal level and in the states? What’s at stake and in play with a new Administration and Congress?

Budget and tax policies impact what families have to spend on basic needs and invest in their future, define the size of the government and its role in the national economy, and affect the lives of all Americans.

Economic Opportunity Funders is hosting a funder briefing in the DC area on March 25th to explore these issues. Tax Equity Funders Network members are invited to attend this meeting in person or watch a recording and then join in a tax-equity specific conversation with funder colleagues about implications for your work on March 27th

Join us on March 27th from 12:30-1:15 pm ET for a follow-up conversation to explore with funder colleagues what we are seeing at the federal level and ways we are protecting and advancing tax equity strategies.

Speaker:
Parita Patel, Senior Program Officer, Robert Wood Johnson Foundation

This session is open to staff of philanthropic organizations and philanthropic advisors.
